Landing pages convert best when they remove distractions and answer the visitor's questions in a sensible order.
Say what it is, for whom, and why it matters
The headline should state the outcome in plain words. The subheading adds who it is for or how it works. If a visitor cannot explain the offer after five seconds, simplify it.
Order the page
- Headline and one clear button
- The main benefits, in the customer's language
- Proof: real testimonials, real numbers or a real example, used with permission
- Answers to common objections: price, time, risk, refunds
- The button again
Reduce friction
Ask only for what you need. Every extra form field gives people another reason to leave. Make buttons specific, such as "Get the checklist", instead of "Submit".
Be honest with proof
Never invent testimonials or statistics. If you have none yet, describe the process and offer a trial or a refund policy you can keep.
Test one change at a time
Try a different headline or button, and give each version enough visitors before judging. Small samples vary a lot, so be cautious about declaring a winner.
